SHEIN runs a program that sends brand-new items, at no product cost, to a small group of randomly selected shoppers. It is not a hack, a glitch or a giveaway run by a stranger on social media. It runs inside the SHEIN app, and shoppers in the U.S. who meet a few basic rules can apply for it.

There is a catch, and we will be upfront about it: SHEIN does not hand out items for nothing. It asks for something specific in return, and how you handle that part decides whether you keep getting chosen.

What this is, and what it is not

What it is

  • Run by SHEIN itself, inside your own SHEIN account. You never apply through a third-party website.
  • Free to join, with no subscription to sign up for.

What it is not

  • Not a guaranteed freebie. SHEIN picks participants at random from everyone who applies.
  • Not something to “unlock” with your card. If a site asks for card details, close it.

The program is available to anyone with a SHEIN account. You do not need to download anything else. Screenshot: SHEIN website.

Who can take part

18 or olderSHEIN’s rules set the minimum age at 18.
A SHEIN accountActive and in good standing. No purchase history needed.
A U.S. addressShipping to the same country as the SHEIN site you use.

You do not need to have bought anything before, and you do not need a large following on social media. This is not an influencer program.

Getting chosen is luck. Staying eligible is not.

The part that decides whether you can keep applying

SHEIN asks every selected participant to do specific things after the item arrives, and accounts that break the program’s rules can lose access to it. There are three details in those rules that are easy to miss.

Detail 1 · A deadlineYour review has to be posted within a set number of days after the item arrives.
Detail 2 · A photo ruleSHEIN asks for a full-body photo plus close-ups of the item.
Detail 3 · An account ruleOne account, a real U.S. address and honest reviews.

They sit in the middle of SHEIN’s help pages and are easy to skim past. The next page explains each one in detail, the exact deadline and photo requirements included, together with the exact path inside the app, how many items you can request each week, and what happens if a package is charged customs duties.

Good to know before you continue

  • Free items are never guaranteed. Selection is random.
  • You will be asked to post a review with photos after the item arrives.
  • If a package is charged customs duties, SHEIN’s rules say the participant pays them.
  • This is an informational guide. shein2you.com does not sell, ship or give away any product.
